OVERVIEW

Will is an associate in Hausfeld’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining Hausfeld, Will served as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Through the Attorney General’s Honors Program, Will investigated and litigated violations of federal civil rights laws, including the Voting Rights Act.

Will graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a Notes Editor on the Michigan Law Review and a recipient of the Irving Stenn, Jr. Award for student leadership. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Gerald A. McHugh in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

From 2016 to 2020, Will was an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2017 as a platoon leader in the 101st Airborne Division.

Experience

Antitrust/Competition

  • In re Fragrance Direct Purchaser Antitrust Litigation - Hausfeld serves as Co-Lead Counsel for a class of direct fragrance purchasers against the four largest suppliers of fragrances and fragrance ingredients in the world, International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF), Symrise AG, Givaudan SA, and Firmenich SA, for potential price fixing and other anticompetitive conduct in the fragrance industry.
  • In re Da Vinci Surgical Robot Antitrust Litigation – proposed class action alleging that Intuitive Surgical engages in an anticompetitive scheme pursuant to which it ties the purchase or lease of its da Vinci surgical robot to the additional purchase of da Vinci maintenance and repair services, including the repair and replacement of the surgical system’s EndoWrists.
  • Joseph Santarlas v. Bowtech et al. – Hausfeld represents a proposed class of consumers alleging that major archery manufacturers, retailers, and distributors conspired with the Archery Trade Association to fix prices in the archery products industry through the enforcement of minimum advertised pricing policies.

Human Rights

  • Colbourne et al. v. Odin Properties LLC et al. – Hausfeld represents tenants of Bentley Manor in a class action lawsuit against one of Philadelphia’s largest landlords, challenging unsafe conditions and unlawful rent collection despite known safety violations.
